Outlook is good for Hispanic businesses

Looks like the economic outlooks for Hispanic businesses in the US, and in Houston and Texas particularly, is good. Here are a few stories:

Hispanic-owned businesses double from 2002 to 2013 || NBC Latino

The study, which analyzed U.S. census data and other information, projected there would be nearly 3.2 million Hispanic-owned businesses in the country in 2013, up from nearly 1.7 million in 2002.

Hispanic-owned businesses thrive in Texas || Houston Business Journal

The West South Central region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, saw a 43 percent expansion in the number of Hispanic-owned businesses between 2007 and 2013.
