Meet the New Faces of Social Media

A recent Hispanic Business story introduces us to several Latina Bloggers as “The New Face of Social Media.” In the article the writer theorizes that Hispanic women have been leaders in social media because we tend to be “a highly social group, eager to interact.” I’m not sure if that’s the case or not, but the article is worth a read to meet these bloggers:

  • Ana Lilian Flores, founder of “Latina Bloggers”
  • Carrie Ferguson Weir, a Latina blogger based in Nashville, Tenn.
  • “Monique Frausto, who lives in Los Angeles, Calif., went after a highly specific niche when she launched www.curvesandchaos.com, a fashion blog site for plus-sized customers.”

I dont’ blog enough to make it on anyone’s list, but if you have other suggestions on who should have been included in this story, please share.
