The Houston Public Library is hosting an author event with Gwendolyn Zepeda on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 6pm. The event will be hosted at the historic Julia Ideson Building (downtown), 550 McKinney, 77002.

Noted as the first latina blogger in the US and one of the first bloggers to write and sell a book, Gwendolyn Zepeda is best-known for her witty books, including: “To the Last Man I Slept with and All the Jerks Just Like Him,” “Growing Up with Tamales,” “Houston, We Have a Problema,” and “Lone Star Legend” (all of which I own).

Zepeda will discuss and sign copies of her latest novel, “Better with You Here.”

DISCLAIMER: the book links above are affiliate links, which means I’m getting a percentage from Amazon. It’s teeny-tiny, so it didn’t in any way influence the fact that I did buy them and I do own them and I do recommend them 🙂
